Happy New Year 2011

The first box collection of the New Year is Saturday 8th January from 10 am until 12 pm. Please remember to bring back any empty crates you have.

Collections will then continue fortnightly as follows:-

  • 22nd January
  • 5th February
  • 19th February
  • 5th March
  • 19th March

Cold Snap

Unfortunately the coldest December since records began 100 years ago has slowed production on the brassica patch but most plants have survived and will be harvested later.
The frosts have also affected some of the potatoes and squash in store. We now know what we will have to do in future years just in case we get such low temperatures again.

Spring Planning

Seed catalogues have started to land on the door mat and we have to decide in the next few weeks what we are going to grow.  It would be great to know what you have really enjoyed eating last season and what you haven’t.  
Also if there are any varieties or other crops you would like to see in your box, drop us an email and we will try and fit them in.
